Mayday Scrapbook 1977 to 1984

Though May Day celebrations have long been associated with Morris Dancers, Woodside's involvement tended to be in events celebrating or involving May, the month. The pictures here show woodside's early years of celebrating May Day itself. It wasn't until 1979 that we first danced up the dawn, but we have since become enthusiastic observers of that most excellent custom.
