Woodside's Traditional Village Tour - Badby

First port of call on the tour was Badby, the scenic Northamptonshire village just a few miles south of Daventry. Badby has three recorded dances in Lionel Bacon's black book: Beaux of London City; Shepherd's Hey; and Old Black Joe. Of these, Woodside perform Beaux of London City.

We arrived at 'The Maltster's Country Inn' at 11.30 sharp, and were greatful to the Landlord's commitment to our cause: the pub doesn't usually open until 12.00, but opened early just for us.
