Tour of the Nibelung

With barely enough time for the ink on our passport stamps to dry (if they had stamped them) we were whisked off for a tour of the Nibelung, with the highlight being the sea of stones, or Felsenmere, deep in the heart of Wagner's Ring country. The Felsenmere is an incredible scene, particularly atmospheric at the time we were there, and no camera could come even close to capturing it, but Simon did a pretty good job with the pictures here...

Woodside's Foreman, Dave Pearse, is an expert instructor, having trained Morris Dancers, both new and experienced, for over twenty years, as well as being a folk dancer of nearly four decades' experience.

During the Winter, Woodside Morris Men meet at 8.00pm on Wednesday nights in the Colne River Rooms at the Pump House Arts Centre Watford. You would be most welcome to come along.
