Associated Teams
With whom Woodside members also dance or play.

Caddington Blues Morris Mixed Cotswold side, for whom Dennis does the music, based in Caddington, near Luton. A smaller side dancing some entertaining sets of between three and six people.
Chiltern Hundreds Northwest Clog Morris A Mixed Northwest Clog side, based in Watford. Dance mostly at festivals but can occasionally be seen at local pubs. Famous for their exciting dancing and excellent band - which Dave Dunham occasionally plays for!
Rivington Morris (1979) Women's Northwest Clog, based in Little Lever, Manchester: renowned for their straight lines and precise dancing, and a striking red, purple and white kit. Rivington are another team that appear regularly at festivals around the country.
Rock Hopper Mixed Cotswold Morris side drawing its members from other nearby sides. These sad people their words) feel that being a member of just one Morris side is not enough! Our man Geoff agreed.
Whitethorn at rest Women's clog team dancing out of Harrow. Can usually be seen dancing with us on Boxing Day, occasionally with the odd member of Woodside partaking in one of their dances (particularly the one with the garland). Whitethorn's website is now up and running - take a look.

Local Teams
Teams based in or around the Watford area.

Benkins Morris dancing at Warwick Castle Mixed Northwest side based in Watford. A festival team with a prize history. Sadly Benskins are no longer dancing, but keep an eye out just in case.
Phoenix Morris Rickmansworth based, and closely linked to Woodside in that Phoenix are the side formed by ex members following the dreaded 'split'. Phoenix are now a mixed Cotswold side, who can be seen at festivals and in and around the Rickmansworth area.
(image) Ladies Northwest side, who, like Woodside, are based at the Pump House Arts Centre. Dance at festivals and around the Watford area.
Wicket Brood Mixed Border side from Bricket Wood, with lots of singers and players - have been our guests on Boxing Day for the last few years.

Friends of Woodside
Not so local teams with whom Woodside regularly associate - these are all Men's Cotswold sides who can often be seen at Woodside's Ale.

Morris Dancing is an aerobic form of dance which provides healthy exercise and social activity. Woodside's Foreman, Dave Pearse, is an expert instructor, having trained Morris Dancers, both new and experienced, for over twenty years, as well as being a folk dancer of nearly four decades' experience.

During the Winter, Woodside Morris Men meet at 8.00pm on Wednesday nights in the Colne River Rooms at the Pump House Arts Centre Watford. You would be most welcome to come along.
