MORRIS DANCERS

You too can enjoy the fun of the Nine Days Wonder. There has already been interest expressed in the event by TV, Radio and the Press, and Tim would like to maximise the positive impact by inviting all Morris Dancers to join him on the diffferent legs of the journey, either for a short stretch or a nice long stretch.

Getting ready for the wonder of it all

The Nine Days Wonder - details to follow

  • First Wonder: Tim sets off at a cracking pace, Dave struggles to play and run at the same time!
  • Second Wonder: Tim makes it to Margaretting, and the public learn to give!
  • Third Wonder: It's hot and it's tough, but there's encouraging news from the media.
  • Fourth Wonder: A Mayoral tea time, and a drubbing down for the law.
  • Fifth Wonder: Another Mayor, a school field trip, and a mini festival of Morris.
  • Ninth Wonder: A tale of two cities, whifflers, and a few of Kemp's men.

Woodside Morris Men have enjoyed Tim's company over the last few weeks at regular dance outs, and at Wimborne Folk Festival, and are pleased to have helped in his preparation for this adventure.

Tim is a freelance Morris enthusiast, and his views and comments do not represent those of Woodside Morris Men.
