There has already been interest expressed in the event by TV, Radio and the Press, and Tim would like to maximise the positive impact by inviting all Morris Dancers to join him on the diffferent legs of the journey, either for a short stretch or a nice long stretch.

Nine Days Wonder Home

The Third Wonder - Margaretting to Chelmsford(ish)

Tim's settling into the Wonder now, and the aches and pains are now accepted as ordinary backround grumbles, but the good wishes keep coming in, and there's news from the news stands.

Tim dragged himself from the team tent(?) and set off on the next leg of the Wonder. Things to feature today were knees and heat, both, or all three, of which were surmountable, but demanded healthy respect. So stops were arranged to accomodate rest during the hottest times of the day, and to ensure continued use the limbs.

More well wishers were welcome during the day, heartening Tim during this tough challenge, and his daily updates on local radio and newspapers was a pleasant diversion that gave him a chance to reflect on the most positive parts of the journey so far.

News, literally, also came from London to confirm coverage in the Metro, which praised Tim's off-beat adventures and fund raising for charity.

Today, was a short leg, and Tim took advantage to steal a few extra miles to prepare for the less lean days later in the week when he will face legs of 28 and 24 miles.

All is well in the camp, and Norwich is looking a distinct possibility!
